Students who have never attended an FMS school will register online as a new student.
NOTE: After creating a new account and completing the initial online registration process, parents of ALL new students must finalize their registration and verify required documents in person at their zoned school or approved waivered location.

NOTE: Students transferring to Farmington Municipal Schools from out of state or a non-public school must provide the following items during registration:
- Health Immunization Certificate or a copy of your approved notarized exemption from the state
- An approved form of proof of residence:Current utility bill, lease/rental agreement, current property tax bill OR a notarized Residency Verification with an attached utility bill
- An original birth certificate, passport, Physician's record, or previous school record
Before you start, make sure you gather information about your doctor, dentist, student health history, and emergency contact phone numbers. You will need this information during registration.
Under state law, children enrolling for kindergarten must reach their fifth birthday by 12:01 AM on September 1, 2017. All FMS schools have full-day kindergarten.
An email address is required to create your online registration account. If you do not have an email account, you can create one for free using Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or AOL.
