As many parents and students have been noticing, FMS is experiencing connectivity issues with Schoology throughout the past couple days. FMS staff has been in communication with Schoology and have learned that a record number of logins over the past two weeks are the likeliest contributor to these disruption. This is due to numerous districts across the nation being closed and schools depending more on online resources.
This is an issue with many websites, not just Schoology. Schoology's engineers are working to increase their infrastructure to accommodate the amount of usage they are receiving.
The Schoology Status Monitor page can be found here. Here you can check the status when you might be experiencing slower load times or error messages. On the Schoology Status Monitor page, you can click the "Subscribe" button in the top right corner to receive emails from Schoology when the program is experiencing issues. Email updates from Schoology will be sent when the issues have been fixed as well.
