Computer and Technology Support and Repair

The FMS Technology Department knows that keeping our computers functional will be more important than ever during At-Home and Remote Learning. In order to better accommodate our users we are expanding tech support services.

1. Technology staff will be now available to assist staff and students remotely Monday - Friday from 8 a.m.- noon and 12:30 - 4 p.m. 

2. Expanded in-person tech support: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.- noon and 12:30 - 4 p.m. at FMS Central Office (3401 E. 30th Street in Farmington).

3. Staff will be on-call 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekends for emergencies involving complete computer failures only.


In all cases when staff or students require tech support, you must follow the standard procedures for requesting assistance:

  • Create a support ticket in our Technology Helpdesk, https://fms.incidentiq.com. Students or parents can sign-in using the student’s normal computer login information. This is the preferred method of requesting support.
  • Call the Technology Office at 505-599-8820 and leave a message. Please include your name and/or the student’s name and school, and a callback number or e-mail address.

If your computer problem is so severe that it cannot be solved remotely, we will set up an appointment for you to bring the laptop in for service during in-person tech support hours. You will get more detailed instructions on computer drop-off at the point when the problem requires it.

We are trying to abide by social distancing recommendations so please do not come to Central Office for tech support unless you have created a ticket or called the Tech office ahead of time. This allows us to better control the process and number of people present at any one time.
