Farmington Cyber Academy family survey

Farmington Municipal Schools is excited to announce Farmington Cyber Academy (FCA) will begin in  School Year 2021/2022. FCA will provide a teacher-supported, completely online learning experience for FMS students as an alternative to in-person learning.

Any student who qualifies to receive services through special education, gifted, English Language Development or other federal programs will be provided equitable services through the appropriate program staff. San Juan College High School students are not eligible for enrollment in FCA.

Farmington Cyber Academy was created to accommodate students who preferred the at-home, online learning for any reason. If your student thrived or preferred at-home learning, FCA is for you. Farmington Cyber Academy is a long-term option that provides a personalized kind of learning for dedicated and self motivated students.

It’s important to note that FMS does anticipate a full reentry for the 2021/2022 school year - with every student having the opportunity to attend full-day, in-person school. Hybrid learning would only be reinstated when mandated by New Mexico Health Orders or the New Mexico Public Education Department.

FMS asks that parents, families, guardians and students review the options for learning below. At the bottom of this webpage is a link for a survey for each FMS school. While this survey does not represent official enrollment in Farmington Cyber Academy, it will provide important data for the district to move forward with planning. Take the time to review the options thoroughly and fill out the survey based on your preference and intention for the 2021/2022 school year. Please fill out the survey for the school your student CURRENTLY attends. Although 5th grade and 8th grade students will attend new schools in 2021/2022, parents should fill out the surveys from their current school.

**Parents/guardians will need each student's six digit student ID number. Student ID numbers were sent in email to all parents/guardians. Entering the accurate ID number will allow district and school staff to input survey data quickly and correctly. Take the time to get your student's school ID number ready before starting this short survey.**
